1. Submit your transcripts in person to the Secretary of State office.
2. Obtain an apostille directly from the Hawaii  Secretary of State in Honolulu.
3. Send your apostilled transcripts back to you via FedEx.

Choose this option if:

• Your transcripts are acceptable for apostille as original.
• Please make sure the transcripts have the appropriate notarization from the school registrar.
• The destination country is requesting that ONLY an apostille on the original transcripts will be acceptable.
• The apostille will be ready in 4 days.

2. Notarize a copy of the transcripts in New York with an apostille affidavit.
3. Certify the notarization at the County Clerk.
4. Obtain an apostille form the  New York Secretary of State.
5. Send your apostilled transcripts back to you via FedEx.

Choose this option if:

• You need the apostille in 24 hours.

• The transcripts are lacking proper notarization.
• You do NOT have the original transcripts, you only have a photocopy.

​Why apostille the document in New York instead of Hawaii?

• If you upload a photocopy of the document we will notarize and apostille the photocopy in New York City, because the notary and apostille have to be form the same State.
• If you want an apostille from ​Hawaii, please use the apostille original document service. (left side)
• We suggest that you ask the destination country authorities if an apostille on a copy will be acceptable, in most countries is acceptable.
